Joint Budget Committee. The bill requires county departments
of human or social services to apply for the children's habilitation residential program (CHRP) waiver for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are referred for placement in the program and show proof of enrollment or denial of eligibility to the department of
human services when they apply for placement in CHRP. The bill does not guarantee a placement if the child is enrolled in CHRP.
