Sunset Process - House Public and Behavioral Health and Human Services Committee. The bill implements the recommendations
of the department of regulatory agencies in its sunset review and report on the regulation of conveyances and conveyance mechanics, contractors, and inspectors by:

Continuing the regulation for 9 years, until September 1, 2031; and
•
Changing the fund into which civil penalties collected for a violation are credited from the conveyance safety fund to the general fund by repealing the requirement that the civil penalties be deposited in the conveyance safety fund.
